ISIS claims responsibility for first attack against al-Jalani
In the first sign of ISIL's threat to Syria following the fall of Bashar al -Assad, the terrorist group claimed responsibility for explosion against the new Syrian army in Sweda province.
The ISIL terrorist group claimed its first attack on the new Syrian government after the fall of Bashar al -Assad on Thursday.
According to a statement issued by the Site News website as a monitoring base of terrorist groups, ISIL has announced that "a roadside bomb that caliphate soldiers had previously planted against a Syrian apostate military vehicle in the south of the country.
The website has described the incident as the first ISIL attack against the new Syrian government forces.
Following the blast on Wednesday, one was killed and three members of the 70 new Syrian army were injured.
Although ISIL attacks in the new Syrian government -controlled areas that took power after the fall of Bashar al -Assad in December last year, the group continued to carry out operations against Kurdish forces in northeast Syria.
Syrian officials said this week that members of an ISIL -affiliated core have been arrested near Damascus.
